Painting abstracts
I am participating in Creative Every Day in November.
Yesterday I posted some papers I have been painting. I chose a few colors, red, blue, a buttermilk yellow, black, and blue.
Next I took a pad of 116 lb paper, and with black paint and a small brush I began to paint lines to block off sections:
I then filled in the blocks with colors that at the time felt yummy to me.
I painted details of doodles on top of the color blocks. The pictures show different patterns and designs, I was so into this it was hard to follow it step by step to take photos. I plan to use these paintings in other projects later.

I spent the day painting.........
I just chose a few colors, and 115lb paper. I created freehand outlines in black. I filled in the background colors, then doodled patterns with paint. This was fun. I became absorbed in the colors I picked and how they worked together.
I made several groups. I iron them flat and am going to create a hand made book with them.

Working in colored pencil
I am working on improving my drawing. This one is colored pencil on white card-stock. I like using plain card-stock. On this one I used Prisma color colored pencils, crayola colored pencils and calligraphy marker.
