My favorite holiday is New Years Day.
A day to start fresh and to tackle a main goal.

I am going to start a series of paper dolls that will
be offered as patterns or templates.

This is the first one. She comes with a parasol and
a hat that can be removed.



So far patterns are made and instructions are
partly written.I'll bet you'll be seeing more parasols.
This one was so much fun to create.

I really like making paper dolls from my paintings.

I am going to have a New Years drawing, for a free paper doll,
which will be announced in my news letter. The sign up box
is on the side bar. The newsletter will be e-mailed about
once every 2 or 3 months.

stands for Nibble Fest Art Contest. I made a paper-doll
for this month's theme:

More paper dolls from paintings

I have taken faces from some more of my paintings and
turned them into paper dolls.


I've been promising to list paper dolls on Etsy for
weeks. Garden chores, elections, weddings and more
not withstanding I should get a few new ones listed soon.

Paper doll Swap theme: "Costume Party"

This month's theme was a challenge for me, because these
were not the dolls I had planned to make. This month I
joined both the ATC swap and the Art doll swap.

For some reason "Costume Party" kept making me think of "Costume Jewelry".

Paper doll swap group

I joined a flat paper doll swap. I have been waiting
for my swap partner The Fairy yellow bug Queen
to recieve her before I posted a picture.
