I spent the day painting.........
I just chose a few colors, and 115lb paper. I created freehand outlines in black. I filled in the background colors, then doodled patterns with paint. This was fun. I became absorbed in the colors I picked and how they worked together.

Working in colored pencil
I am working on improving my drawing. This one is colored pencil on white card-stock. I like using plain card-stock. On this one I used Prisma color colored pencils, crayola colored pencils and calligraphy marker.

Sketchbook Saturday
My entry for the Sketchbook Challenge. The November theme is "imaginary animals". I've always imagined sea turtles with flowers painted on their backs.

Retro paper doll and variations
A new paper doll download, retro paper dolls. They have instructions and patterns for lots of variations, collars, dress shapes and aprons.

Here is a variation made with the same pattern using handmade elements (not included with the pattern). This pattern is very compatible with stickers, chipboard embellishments and rubberstamps.

Both are available for purchase here
