Tossed flowers

Inspired by flowers could also be the name of this post. Flowers are every where.

Where I live that also means: wind is everywhere.
The tossed prints are created with flower sketches made with My Paint and Gimp.

Green and flowers...= spring.

This drawing was created on open source software called My Paint. I love the brushes the colors and the way it responds to my hand and tablet.

I use Ubuntu on a linux dual boot.

Spring blossoms a dress to wear in spring

Light green is one of my favorite colors. Have I ever met a color I didn't like?
I like the fit and flare dress silhouette. Very flattering and hides and enhances at the same time.

red red rose

Favorite color dress, and favorite style.

Fabric Swatch

I was thinking of soft drapey fabric when I was creating this print.

Sketchbook Saturday Inspired by spring

The fresh new leaves of green and the beautiful flowers opening now;
I love how I feel when I work in my garden!

Mermaids are coming!

Here is a sneak preview of a Mermaid kit I am working on. Png files , psd files a background to play with. This kit is as big as your imagination. Each piece needs to be extracted (the background taken out) and named so that they can be dragged to the background, or used in other ways you may dream up. I don't have a release date yet, but soon, very soon I will have it available for play!

Mermaids are HERE!

butterflies

I love butterflies, and it was so much fun creating this kit. The files are 300 dpi, in .psd, .png, and.jpg. The things you could make with this file!

I imagine it printed out and made into paper tags or paper ornaments. Fabric transfers, ironed on felt and lightly stuffed and trimmed with a ribbon. Use your ink-jet printer and print on sticker paper and use in journals or letters and notes.

Available for instant download at birdandflower Etsy.

Social Creatures

One of the things I am having fun with in Inkscape, is using lines and shapes to create interesting faces. I really wanted to see how many different faces i could create by using a limited palette and mixing drawing elements.
